    Starting July 1, 2025, a new post-retirement reemployment option will allow you to continue receiving your monthly pension benefit if you return to work within 90 days to one year after retiring.

    Those affected by the Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and Government Pension Offset (GPO) may get retroactive Social Security benefits. URS is not involved in these payments or their tax treatment and does not provide tax advice. Contact Social Security or see their news release to learn more. 

    You should also consult your own tax and legal advisors to determine the effect of Social Security and tax laws on your particular situation.
